Talaria created the Sting to bring cutting-edge e-moto performance to all riders. Powered by a 60V/38.4Ah battery, the MX3 is the affordable stablemate to the Sting MX4 and MX4 Expert models. Upgrades for 2024 include an improved controller and improved DNM suspension as well as blacked-out footpegs, wheels and sprocket. An intelligent gearbox minimizes wear while reducing noise, and the balanced chassis makes the MX3 agile on the trails and easy to manouevre around the garage.

All these features and more make the Talaria Sting ideal for experiencing the passion and thrill of electric off-road riding.

WARRANTY

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Talaria will cover all material costs associated with repairing or replacing any part or accessory found to be defective in material under normal use and maintenance. This limited warranty extends to the initial retail purchaser. This limited warranty is in effect for 1 year from the initial retail sale date a new Talaria from an authorized dealer.

The Sting MX3 is powered by an impressive 60V, 38Ah lithium-ion power pack (2,280 watt-hours). Easily swappable, the battery pack can be removed and replaced with another fully charged power pack in seconds for limitless range. With electric auto-grade LG 21700 lithium-ion battery cells, state of the art programmed battery management system (BMS) and optimized internal structure, this battery pack ensures the bike brings you safe, hi performance off-road riding.

DISPLAY

The display screen features a high-contrast OLED display that offers riders a clear info display with low power consumption. With CAN communication, the dash can transfer data with the BMS and controller. The display menu provides a range of information, which include top/average speed, range, battery data, riding mode, error codes, regen level and more. The dash is also adjustable if using different wheels, sprocket size, regen levels, and can display in km or miles.

CONTROLLER

With the high-quality hardware, superb layout and intelligent programming, the Sting MX4 controller has an extraordinary level of transient current impact resistance, ultra strong anti-interference, high-precision EABS voltage and discharge current control, error inspection, high and low temperature protection, anti-runaway, and smart energy regeneration. This guarantees a powerful, exciting, and safe riding experience with respectable range.

POWERTRAIN

The customized combination powertrain design is just perfect for the light weight electric MX bike. The high efficiency brushless permanent magnet synchronous mid-drive motor, with top-class magnet material and advanced processing, is available to output 45N.m peak torque. With exquisitely crafted high accuracy gears, the gearbox runs even quieter and is much more durable than any belt drive systems. It’s time to say goodbye to that broken belt anxiety.
